The emotional impact of “Roi Roi Binale” extends far beyond Assam’s borders. The film will be released in over 40 countries worldwide, allowing the global Assamese community to come together in grief, pride, and celebration of Garg’s artistry.
Zubeen Garg dedicated more than 17 years to nurturing this project—three years perfecting the script and composing 11 original songs for it. The story features Garg as Raul, a blind musician who perceives the world through sound, a role that beautifully mirrors Garg’s own artistic soul and connection to music.
Director Rajesh Bhuyan shared, “Zubeen Da conveyed so much of himself through his music and performance. His spirit is alive on screen.” The crew completed the film as a labor of love and gratitude, determined to honor the vision of an artist who shaped an era.
